Easy Strawberry Mousse

Try this creamy and delicious, yet low-fat, dessert when you are trying to eat right. As a bonus, the strawberries are an excellent source of vitamin C!

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup water cold
  • 2 Cups strawberries sliced
  • 1 Package PHILADELPHIA Fat Free Cream Cheese (8 oz) softened
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  • 1 Package JELL-O Brand Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin Strawberry Flavor
  • 2 Cups COOL WHIP Sugar Free Whipped Topping thawed

Directions

  1. BEAT cream cheese and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on low speed until well blended; set aside.
  2. STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in small bowl at least 2 min. until completely dissolved. Add cold water; stir until slightly thickened. Gradually add to cream cheese mixture, beating after each addition until well blended. Gently stir in 1-1/2 cups of the whipped topping and the strawberries.
  3. SPOON evenly into 10 small dessert dishes. Refrigerate at least 1 hour or until firm. Top each with a dollop of the remaining whipped topping just before serving. Store leftover desserts in refrigerator.
  4. Substitute: Prepare as directed, using your favorite flavor JELL-O Brand Sugar Free Low Calorie Gelatin, such as Orange, Lemon or Cherry.
